Nonisothermal laminar semibounded jet on a plate
Abstract
The method of integral relations is used to analyze the propagation of a nonisothermal laminar semibounded jet on a hot or cold plate; the dynamic and thermal boundary layer formed on the plate consists of near-wall and jet regions. The problem is solved for both Pr less than 1 and Pr greater than 1. The velocity and temperature profiles are in polynomial form for the numerical analysis.
