The Lifetime of the Neutral D Charmed Meson.

The lifetime of the neutral charmed meson D('0) has been measured. from 18 D('0) decays obtained with a hybrid emulsion -spectrometer in. a neutrino beam. Although the data are consistent with a single. lifetime of. (DIAGRAM, TABLE OR GRAPHIC OMITTED...PLEASE SEE DAI). seconds, the three observed semileptonic decays have a longer lifetime than the hadronic decays by a factor of 3.7, suggesting that they represent a population with a different lifetime.
