Transmission of incoherent images through scattering media with a grating interferometer
Abstract
Existing interferometric techniques for imaging through scattering media require coherent illumination and stationary targets. A description is given of a new grating interferometer that is capable of imaging an incoherently illuminated target regardless of whether the targets and the scatterers are moving or stationary. This interferometer is particularly useful for the high-speed transmission of two-dimensional images through scattering media.
