Stark effect in submillimeter laser lines from optically pumped CH 3OH and CD 3OD
Abstract
The Stark effect in submillimeter laser lines from optically pumped CH 3OH and CD 3OD were studied for a low electric field between 0 and 1.3 kV/cm. A stark splitting and/or an output power enhancement were observed for some lines. Twelve new cw laser lines were observed at zero electric field from optically pumped CD 3OD.
