Defocusing as a method of optical image transformation at the technical and visual system inputs
Abstract
A new visual system model based on the separation of image informative fragments at defocusing has been proposed. Model operation is compared with physiological experimental data and with A.P. Ginsburg's model, based on spectra conception. Possible applications in technical systems for image recognition and TV have been described.
