Electron nuclear double resonance with circularly polarized radio frequency fields (CP-ENDOR) theory and applications
Abstract
Electron nuclear double resonance spectroscopy (ENDOR) with circularly polarized driving fields (CP-ENDOR) is described. CP-ENDOR may drastically reduce the number of transitions in complicated ENDOR spectra. Transition probabilities for isotropic and anisotropic hyperfine interactions and the behaviour of residual CP-ENDOR lines are discussed. Experimental results on single crystal and powder samples are presented.
