Axial ratio measurements of dual circularly polarized antennas
Abstract
The theory of axial ratio measurements of dual circularly polarized antennas is considered for the case of two receiving antennas and for the case of a single receiving antenna. Attention is then given to an example of actual measurements, performed with the 12-foot-diameter reflector antenna at the satellite tracking station of the Virginia Polytechnic Institute.
