Velocity and temperature fields past a finite flat plate in a slip flow
Abstract
The slip flow past a finite tangential flat plate at low Reynolds numbers is treated in the Oseen approximation. The Fourier integral transform method is used to obtain an analytical expression for the shear stress distribution at the wall. The method consequently leads to numerical evaluations of the velocity and temperature fields which are easily obtainable by standard procedures.
