Magnetohydrodynamic flow around a stationary sphere
Abstract
In the present paper, a perturbation technique is applied to the analysis of the steady flow of a conducting fluid about a sphere at finite Reynolds numbers. The flow is excited by electric and magnetic field of arbitrary orientation. A solution is obtained in the form of an expansion in series of particular solutions of the Laplace equations in Cartesian coordinates.
