The meanfield turbulent dynamo in the presence of largescale velocity
Abstract
An equation describing the turbulent dynamo for mean magnetic fields in the presence of largescale velocity is derived. Kazantsev's (1967) diagram technique is extended to the case of largescale velocity; and boundary conditions of largescale electrodynamics are obtained which generalize earlier results to the case of spiral turbulence and largescale flows. Some astrophysical applications of the proposed theory are discussed.
