The use of computers for engineering computations in communications technology
Abstract
The principles of computer programming (particularly with FORTRAN) are briefly reviewed along with various methods of computational mathematics widely used in engineering practice; attention is given to the solution of linear and nonlinear equations, functional integration, the integration of ordinary differential equations, and matrix operations. Consideration is then given to the use of the computer to analyze electronic circuits and to design digital communications systems.
