Submillimetre wave harmonic generation in magnetized plasma in n-InSb
Abstract
Third harmonic generation of electromagnetic radiation in the submillimetre region (λ ω = 0.9 mm, λ 3ω = 0.3 mm) in n-type indium antimonide in a constant transverse magnetic field has been investigated both experimentally and theoretically. It is shown that harmonic generation in n-InSb in the submillimetre region is due mainly to the nonparabolicity of the conduction band.
