Thermal regime of the optical elements of the pumping system of a self-cooled solid-state laser
Abstract
Approximate analytical expressions have been obtained for calculating the transient temperatures of the principal optical elements of the pumping system of a solid-state laser as a function of the operating mode, heat transfer characteristics, and heat release in the individual elements. Particular attention is given to the effects of radiative and convective-conductive heat transfer within the pumping system on the thermal regime of the active rod.
