An improved circuit model for monolithic crystal filters
Abstract
The slightly skewed insertion loss versus frequency response of monolithic crystal filters is approximately accounted for by adding a capacitor to the usual filter model. This capacitor, shunting the coupling inductance, causes an effective frequency dependent coefficient of filter coupling which is characteristic of a waveguide operating just below cutoff.
