A generalization of King's short antenna theory
Abstract
Based upon established theories and a relationship involving the principle of reciprocity between transmitting and receiving antennas, a simple approximate expression for the current distribution on an electrically short cylindrical receiving antenna is derived. Further manipulations also yield a simple approximate formula for the input conductance to an electrically short cylindrical antenna anywhere along its length.
