Solar absorptance degradation of an uncleaned radiator
Abstract
Attention is given to the question why the rate of increase of the measured solar absorptance of the beacon radiators on the third Comstar was appreciably higher than the rates for the first two satellites. Also considered are the relative contributions to degradation from inadequate prelaunch cleaning and post-launch contamination.
