Tetrahedron equations and the relativistic Smatrix of straightstrings in 2+1Dimensions
Abstract
The quantum Smatrix theory of straightstrings (infinite onedimensional objects like straight domain walls) in 2+1dimensions is considered. The Smatrix is supposed to be “purely elastic” and factorized. The tetrahedron equations (which are the factorization conditions) are investigated for the special “twocolour” model. The relativistic threestring Smatrix, which apparently satisfies this tetrahedron equation, is proposed.
