Modeling beam patterns of linear antennas
Abstract
A method is examined for mathematical modeling on a computer of the beam patterns of antennas based on the use of Kotel'nikov's theorem. The values of the patterns for a number of reference directions are used for complete analysis of the properties of the pattern, including directional gain and scattering coefficient. The examined algorithm is applied to computing antennas by the Monte Carlo method which consists of modeling random patterns.
