X-ray astronomy with the Einstein satellite : proceedings of the High Energy Astrophysics Division of the American Astronomical Society meeting on x-ray astronomy held at the Harvard/Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics, Cambridge, Massachusetts, U.S.A., January 28-30, 1980
Abstract
Among the topics covered are nondegenerate stellar X-ray sources and stellar coronae, the X-ray imaging and spectra of supernova remnants, X-ray bursters and X-ray sources in globular clusters, X-ray emission from normal galaxies, the spectroscopy of such compact extragalactic X-ray sources as active galaxies and QSOs, and imaging and spectra X-ray observations of clusters of galaxies. Also considered are extragalactic radio sources, active galactic nuclei and quasars, the number-intensity distribution of extragalactic X-ray sources, and optical counts and space distribution of quasars.
