Photometric observations and light curve analysis of the peculiar system ER Vul.
Abstract
Photoelectric observations of the eclipsing variable ER Vul were obtained in yellow and blue light. The light curve was analyzed and the photometric elements were deduced using automated Fourier techniques on the light changes. A new orbital period of the system (P = 0.698082 days) is given. Absolute elements are derived and effective temperatures of the two components are T(A) = 6000 K and T(B) = 5619 K.
