Complex systems: Common boundary conditions for unsteady liquid flow
Abstract
A variety of common boundary conditions in pipeline systems and methods for incorporating them into numerical solutions of unsteady liquid flow problems are described. Changes in the diameter/wall thickness ratio, changes in duct wall material, multiway junctions, dead ends, valve systems, pumps, and vessels are considered.
