Highly sensitive detectors of electromagnetic radiation
Abstract
This overview considers the current status of and physical problems in the development of highly sensitive and low-inertia detectors of electromagnetic radiation. Attention is given to photoelectric detectors of infrared and submillimeter radiation, devices based on the heating of electron gas in semiconductors, devices with Josephson junctions, and maser devices.
