Determination of instrument properties of X-ray installations as a contribution to the radiography objectification
Abstract
Aspects of the standardization of industrial radiographic procedures are described. Random test measurements point to the necessity of standardizing instrument parameters and admissible tolerances. One aim should be the reduction of these tolerances, resulting in a better reproducibility of radiographic images. Another aim should be the acceptance of these tolerances by competent authorities as system limitations.
