Layout of optical systems for laser Doppler anemometers
Abstract
Various arrangements of the components of a laser Doppler anemometer system are discussed. The systems can be combined for forward scattered light use in velocity measurements, and also arranged to carry out back scatter experiments. Basic computations can be performed to insure the final signal contains the required velocity information in a form suitable for electronic signal processing.
