An introduction to the modeling of turbulent combustion phenomena
Abstract
A general discussion of mathematical modeling for turbulent combustion problems is given. It is concluded that computation of major species in turbulent diffusion flames is reasonably well understood, but available models for premixed flames are either physically implausible or untested.
