Lund computer codes for the calculation of nuclear single-particle levels and total potential energies as functions of nuclear shape: A brief description
Abstract
The input parameters for a set of codes that calculate nuclear single particle levels and total potential energies as functions of shape are discussed. In the codes, the macroscopic-microscopic method is used to calculate the total energy. The single particle potential is a modified-oscillator potential. The macroscopic energy is calculated for both a liquid drop model and the droplet model. Mass-asymmetric and axially (gamma) asymmetric shapes may be studied by use of the codes described.
