The proton component of corpuscular radiation at various geomagnetic latitudes
Abstract
The results of rocket-borne measurement of proton fluxes in which the protons have energies of 1-50 MeV in the upper atmosphere in middle latitudes and the polar region are presented. With the aid of multichannel semiconductor spectrometers, differential energy spectra of protons are obtained. Proton fluxes in the energy range 1-20 keV are measured at geomagnetic latitudes of 6-71 deg N with spectrometers equipped with channel multipliers.
