Realization of predistortion compensators of memoryless nonlinear devices
Abstract
It is pointed out that there are six different predistortion compensator realization schemes of a memoryless nonlinear device. These schemes are described and compared in terms of the number of block components required, realization error, and computing labor involved. A scheme realized on the basis of the general model characteristics, with the application of the first order Chebyshev transformation technique and with the envelope realization and phase realization arranged in cascade, (Scheme GCI), is found to be superior.
