A broadband concept for solutions of radar and sonar dynamic equations
Abstract
The concept described is based on a Dirac delta statement and permits the direct computation of the impulse response of deterministic or random targets and antennas in a simple manner. This method is of high transparency and corresponds to the nature of radar with a large relative bandwidth. A comparison of computed and measured impulse responses shows the applicability of this concept for theoretical and practical improvements such as target identification and adaptive signal spectrum forming.
