Two-dimensional phase filtering
Abstract
A mathematical model of a two-dimensional recursive phase filter is developed; and some techniques for the design of such filters with respect to complex frequency specifications, and amplitude and phase response optimization, are presented. Attention is then given to some typical applications of two-dimensional phase filtering, including an all-pass phase equalizer design. Applications to seismic signal processing and minimum-phase filters for image processing are also discussed.
