A new adaptive recursive LMS filter
Abstract
A new least mean-square (LMS) algorithm for adaptive recursive filters is proposed that minimizes the mean-square error. A quantitative performance comparison of the proposed adaptive recursive LMS filter and the adaptive transversal LMS filter of Widrow (1966) is presented; both filters are used as adaptive time-domain equalizers for high-speed data transmission.
