EHF solid state transmitters for satellite communications
Abstract
The paper describes development efforts for 2 to 10 watt communication amplifiers in the frequency ranges near 35, 40, and 60 GHz. Device and circuit design aspects, design techniques, gain and bandwidth tradeoffs, efficiency and reliability are considered. Emphasis is placed on high-performance circulators.
