The use of Space Telescope for the detection of black holes in globular cluster cores
Abstract
Theoretical considerations, the discovery that several globular clusters are X-ray sources, and observational work on surface brightness distributions support the existence of a central black hole or compact group of neutron stars in some globular clusters. The wide field/planetary camera of the Space Telescope is uniquely suited for the resolution of this question.
