Equations for probability distributions of velocity and concentration in turbulent and nonturbulent regions of free flows
Abstract
A theoretical study of the intermittent free flows of an incompressible fluid is presented. Equations are obtained for the conditional probability distributions of velocity and concentration fields in the turbulent and nonturbulent regions of such flows. An equation for the intermittency coefficient is also obtained.
