Rotation motions of a gyrostatic satellite in a Kepler orbit.
Abstract
The rotation motions about the mass center are studied for a 'Volterra-type' gyrostatic satellite in a Kepler orbit under a Newtonian force field. All the possible stationary rotations are determined. Further, a class of non-stationary rotations is found.
