Gas-dynamic equations
Abstract
Gas-dynamic equations are derived from the Boltzmann equation using an approach which makes it possible to avoid the a priori postulates of the Enskog theory. Various forms of gas-dynamic equations, including the higher-order approximations of the Navier-Stokes gas dynamics, are analyzed with reference to their applicability and accuracy
