Laser stroboscopic anemometer /LSA/ for determining vectorial flow fields in the high velocity range
Abstract
A Laser Stroboscope Anemometer is presented, which has been developed at the Institute for Solid-State Physics of the Technical University, Darmstadt and has been successfully tested in the high speed wind tunnel TVM 150 at the Aeronautical Institute. The method and set-up are described and the experimental results are compared with theory and other alternative methods. Some application examples are presented.
