Quasisteady viscous flows
Abstract
Quasisteady analysis is applied to time dependent viscous flows. The basic model consists of Cauchy's equations in which relaxation equations are used to model the viscous parameters. Quasisteady models are obtained for the one and two dimensional cases, and specific application is made to both compressible and incompressible boundary layer situations. Several analytical and numerical solutions are obtained for the incompressible models.
