A digital unit for measuring unsteady pressure coefficients
Abstract
The large capacity system receives simultaneous data from miniature piezoresistive transducers, computes the Fourier transform of the displacement signal and of the pressure signals for each channel, and stores the coefficients on disk. The system is based on an HP 2100 minicomputer, an HP 5451 B Fourier analyzer, with an in house designed 16 channel multiplexer. The unit has a capacity of 240 channels and a bandwith between 5 and 1250 Hz. A comparison is made with the analog unit which it replaces.
