Synthesis of a binary periodic signalfilter pair
Abstract
It is shown that the suppression of side fringes of periodic correlation functions of known minimaximal binary sequences is accompanied by large signalnoise ratio losses. The results of computer calculations of binary signals up to periods (lengths) of N = 30 with minimal ratio losses are presented; a simple rule is derived for combining the sequences which makes it possible to receive new binary signals of larger lengths with low losses for the suppression of side fringes.
