Optimal transfer function of a receiver for signals with frequency-selective fadings
Abstract
The optimal transfer function of a receiver for signals with frequency-selective fadings under conditions of multipath radio propagation is investigated. Two types of optimal receivers are considered. The first type has a maximum ratio of mean signal power to noise power. The second type has a maximum ratio of the power of the constant component of the signal to the cumulative power of its random component and noise.
