A method for increasing the interference rejection of a receiver subject to interference in the near field
Abstract
A reception algorithm was derived which provides an invariance to near-zone noises and potential noiselessness to far-zone interferences. An expression is presented for electric and magnetic components of a signal source consisting of an electric dipole located on an ideally conducting surface in terms of the dielectric constant of the medium and the velocity of light. The reception algorithm can determine the additional antenna for providing the invariance relative to the near-zone noises; the algorithm is based on the consideration of two antennas one of which reacts to the electric, and the other to the magnetic component of the signal field.
