Diffraction of a plane wave beam by a double ribbon grating
Abstract
A plane-wave expansion is used to represent the diffraction of a two-dimensional wave beam on a double ribbon array. Analytical and numerical studies of the diffracted wave field are presented. Values are obtained for the distribution of the near field, the radiation pattern, and the transmission coefficient as a function of array and beam parameters.
