Characteristics of amplification and generation of acoustic waves in a Corbino disk geometry
Abstract
A theoretical analysis is presented of the amplification of acoustic waves in a semiconductor crystal cut-out in the form of a Corbino disk and located in a transverse magnetic field. It is shown that the width of the phase-amplified acoustic beam depends on the electron drift velocity. Conditions are formulated for generation in an acoustoelectronic ring oscillator.
