The reflection and refraction characteristics of a plane electromagnetic wave in a thin nonlinear dielectric layer
Abstract
Self-interaction of plane H- and E-waves in thin dielectric layers with cubic nonlinearity is analyzed. Consideration is given to the hystereses of permittivity, reflected and refracted fields for different angles of incidence, amplitudes, and polarizations of incident waves.
