Transient photoconductivity apparatus
Abstract
A description is given of a versatile light source and detection electronics for observation of transient photoconductivity in polycrystalline silicon. The source generates variable optical pulse width and amplitude with penetrating 1.06 μm radiation; the detection electronics allows the observation of low level photocurrents with decay times varying over three orders of magnitude, from 1 μs to 1ms.
