Steady-state adjoint problem of heat transfer for the Couette flow in a tube of circular cross section
Abstract
In the present paper, the Bubnov-Galerkin method is used in combination integral Laplace transforms to obtain an analytical solution to the convective heat transfer problem for the Couette flow in a semiinfinite channel formed by a stationary cylindrical wall and a moving cylinder. The solution obtained is well suited for analyzing the heat transfer process in cylindrical Couette flows.
