Periodic motions of a gyrostat in a Newtonian field
Abstract
The existence of periodic motions is studied for a gyrostabilizer (consisting of a body and a rotor whose axis is fixed with respect to the body) in a central Newtonian force field. It is shown that the problem under consideration possesses a family of periodic solutions.
