The mathematical principles of the 'Transit' navigation system
Abstract
Determination of coordinates of observational points using Doppler SSZ observations is presented. Detailed satellite and local time are also discussed; preliminary treatment of data obtained by Doppler receivers and methods of measuring error elimination such as refraction, circle count error, and radio noise are described. The equations of Doppler observations were derived including relativistic effects, and the method of their solution was presented.
