Distribution function of an inhomogeneous plasma in the presence of an oscillating magnetic field

The distribution function f of a plasma in a magnetic field consisting of a steady plus an oscillating part has been determined by solving Vlasov's equation and assuming that the frequency of oscillation is much less than the cyclotron frequency.
